Golden Tips are crafted in the same way as Silver Tips, but with an additional layer of magic. The handpicked buds from the rare TRI 2043 cultivar of the Camelia Sinensis (tea) bush, while being dried under diffused sunlight, are lovingly misted with the best quality golden brews of the estate. This gives Golden Tips its characteristic golden colour, pale amber brew, beautiful velvety mouthfeel and unique subtle flavour that no other tea in the world possesses.

This finest of Pure Ceylon White Teas is then packed in metal caddies, which are handmade and decorated by traditional Ceylonese metalsmiths using legacy techniques. Golden Tips are perfect as a timeless gift, an expression of love or as an accompaniment to life’s transcendent moments.
The precious Golden Tips are packaged in a biodegradable pouch and the metal caddy is placed within high-quality, sustainably sourced eco-friendly packaging. White tea is one of the least processed forms of tea and our estates ensure that every participant in this labour of love is treated fairly and compensated properly.
Our Golden Tips originate from the Oodoowerre Hills in the Uva region of Sri Lanka, which is home to the world-renown Nine Arch Railway Bridge, constructed in 1923 by the Ceylonese Builder PK Appuhami. The region is also popular among nature seekers the world over, being home to some of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful scenery and waterfalls including Dunhinda, Diyaluma and the legendary Ravana Falls, which features in the Ramayana Epic.
